Maker of the month Vanessa Fry

Vanessa studied Fine Art at Ruskin College, Oxford and then spent 7 years working in Galleries and Auction Houses in London

Vanessa says “I moved to Gloucestershire when I married and painting had to take a back seat. Slowly I started to paint again and now have more time to devote to my love of painting.

I have always loved the challenge of catching the light and colours of nature and mostly paint landscapes and seascapes in oils.

I have exhibited in Oxford, London, Gloucestershire, Devon and now Portishead too!”
