Maker of the month / Posset Pottery

We are delighted to have the lovely Julie Hinchliffe of Posset Pottery as our Maker of the Month this month.

Julie says “When I was a child, I dreamt of having my own potters wheel, but it wasn’t until I started a degree in fine art in 2016 that I finally managed to sit at one. From day one it became an obsession & I would spend every minute that I could in the ceramics studio. When I graduated in 2019 my wonderful husband built my very own studio & Posset Pottery was soon up & running.

I have always lived on the coast, so most of my work is inspired by the sea tor has a nautical feel to it. To now be selling my own work is a dream come true, because inside I still feel like the little girl that just wanted to have a go on a potters wheel”
